100% R.O.C. Certified Straight Malted Rye Whiskey Second Barrel

Dry Land Distillers is proud to release the first 100% R.O.C. Certified Straight Malted Rye Whiskey in the U.S. This rye was grown by Jones Farms Organics, the first R.O.C. certified grower in Colorado. Originally grown as a cover crop to reduce water use, hold the topsoil in place, and return organic matter to the soil, this rye is an old variety that has not historically been harvested for use as a cereal grain. 

This Straight Rye Whiskey is one of the lowest carbon impact spirits in the world. By using regenerative growing techniques as a cover crop, turning the rye back in to the soil, and minimizing the transportation of the grain, this whiskey returns carbon to the soil. (When you sip a glass of this Rye whiskey, you're drinking carbon.)
